1.    February Member Meeting
The February Member Meeting in Milpitas CA was a huge success. Over 40 Members and Guests were in attendance, and the discussion was brisk. You can find the minutes of the meeting and all of the presentations on the HDP web site http://www.hdpug.org. The next meeting will be in May, 2008. Details follow.
 
 
Huawei, located in mainland China, will become a member of HDP User Group International beginning in May. Huawei is a leader in providing next generation telecommunications networks. We are happy to announce that IBM will host our next European Member Meeting to be held in Mainz, Germany May 7 and 8. The following two meetings will be arranged in conjunction with the member meeting if there is sufficient interest:
·        Morning of May 6th Semiconductor supplier issues of common interest such as company unique requirement specifications, silicon interposers and integrated passives
·        Morning of May 9th Material supplier issues of common interest.

The meeting May 7th will be open to guests invited by the HDP User Group staff. All the definition stage projects will be presented and discussed and the content of all implementation projects will be described.
 
The May 8th meeting will only be open to members. Results of all Implementation stage projects will be presented and discussed, together with HDP specific issues.
 
We are expecting a heavy turnout, so please let Darryl know if you plan to attend.  You can send him an email at darrylr@hdpug.org.  We would like to make sure we have room and amenities to cover everyone.  Any Project Leader listed as a presenter who cannot attend, please let Darryl know ASAP so that we can arrange for a teleconference or a substitute.
